Keeping Warm While Staying Stylish

I know sometimes it's hard to find a balance in the fall/winter months between keeping warm and looking fashionable. No one wants to freeze in the name of fashion, but you also don't want to sacrifice your sense of style to stay warm...this is just the reality of it. Big coats and chunky overstuffed boots are not where it's at...at least not this season. I did a shoot recently wearing an Ace Blakley turtleneck dress with a super warm doubled wool jacket. Me & My Teal Midi

This morning I had the sudden urge to make me a midi dress out of some teal fabric I purchased a few weeks back. I always buy fabric without having a clue what I'm going to make with it. I'll admit I'm a recovering fabric addict. I've gotten so much better in the last year or so. I used to be in the fabric store at least four times per week...horrible I know. We're OPEN!!!

We're OPEN!!! Yaaaaaaay!
