Weekend Recap #1! (Ajzha Kahn Baby Shower and Impromptu Wii Game Night)
Happy Hump Day All!!!
I've been so behind with writing so I'm trying to get a few post in today before the madness of the rest of my week rushes at me.
First off let me start by saying CONGRATULATIONS to fellow designers Ajzha Kahn and Maurice. The baby shower this weekend was so nice and Ajz looked beautiful in the maternity dress she made. I was absolutely LOVIN the hair!!!!
A few of my friends, not saying any names, got embarrassed because they called my mom out thinking she didn't have the moves smh... they all lost! Go MOM!!!! :)

After the baby shower a few of my friends headed over to my house for some last minute bbq. Or atleast that's what we planned to do...
After about an hour we got into some heated Wii games:
Hip Hop Dance Experience
Michael Jackson Experience
Black Eyed Peas Experience
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaan...if you never played any of these you are missing out on a lot of fun and a great exercise.
A few of my friends, not saying any names, got embarrassed because they called my mom out thinking she didn't have the moves smh... they all lost! Go MOM!!!! :)
Thanks for coming loves!!! I had so much fun! See pics and videos below. If you have any additional pics or video (I'm pretty sure y'all do!) send them to me and I'll post them on this blog :)
Special Thanks To:
Mommy

forget the sad part. I’m just extremely excited now LOL.
I want everyone to come out this Friday for the premiere of “Supernatural

Pier Entertainment Spring Music Festival
Ok where do I start?
Here we go... Singer/Songwriter Tanikka Charrae (www.tanikkacharrae.com) called me early last week and asked me to make her an outfit for a performance. This is how the conversation went..
Tanikka Charrae: Hey Cha... I like this dress. Can you make me something similar in pants for a performance?
Me: Sure, when is the performance?
Tanikka Charrae: Saturday for Pier Entertainment Spring Music Fest (www.pierentertainment.com) ...
Me: Realllllly??? Saturday??? I don't think I can do it...I have so much going on.
Tanikka Charrae: I'm not going to put that pressure on you. I just don't know what I'm going to do about something to wear :(
Me: Sigh...I'll do it (Sucker Face) lol
Finding the white spandex was a piece of cake, but finding dark brown mesh was nearly impossible so I decided to dye the mesh myself with coffee (Yes, coffee)...
I was so busy working on Jonaee's prom dress that I didn't start Tanikka's outfit until 6am Saturday morning and she needed to pick it up by 11am smh.

(Before and After dying )
The color of the mesh was still off so I tried buying another brown mesh with shimmer
Tanikka wasn't with the ice skater look so this mesh was out lol... Finally I found something in her shade on Friday night at Phoung's on 4th Street (fabric row)
I was so busy working on Jonaee's prom dress that I didn't start Tanikka's outfit until 6am Saturday morning and she needed to pick it up by 11am smh.
After pattern making...cutting...sewing I finally got it together.... TA DA!!!!!!!! Needless to say Tanikka Charrae ROCKED IT at the Blockley for the Spring Music Festival =)
